Cafe Church – Wedding Preparation
Our couples are invited to two informal evening sessions of Cafe Church – Wedding
Preparation with the Rector, Revd. Karen Stanton, her colleague Revd. Dr. Anne Furness
and the Cafe Church Team
The evenings include a meal (free) and the opportunity to talk about information on choosing Orders of Service, hymns, music, readings and all the other practicalities required for your wedding in church.
You will be joined by three or four other couples, all marrying at St. Peter’s this year, so many of your questions can be answered at one time, as we enjoy ourselves and get to know each other. Our hope is that you will really feel at home among us. Our aim is to help you to enjoy your wedding at St Peter’s, walk alongside you and assist you. Dress is casual.
The cost of church weddings
There is no doubt that the choices you make about your wedding day can make a huge impact on the cost. If you choose to marry in church, we want it to be a day that is personal and special for you, but that need not mean you spend a fortune.
There is a required legal statutory fee for marrying in any Church of England.
